A nation of avatars is longing for its freedom

blindfolded in the dark by fake truths

handcuffed in hashtags

ear-tagged like cows and left to run in the prairie

so that they can have the illusion of freedom

And as they wander, sometimes they wonder where they came from

before they got to this place

But someone else knows much better than them

someone who has measured their every twitch

someone who has arranged them by size,

classified them

zombified them

and targeted them with clones of themselves
