America, Thank You

For an imperialist country, I was always pleasantly surprised at how down-to-earth Americans are.  They are t-shirt-and-jeans type of people who just want to get along with everyone, whoever they are, wherever they come from. But sadly, much like the Brits, they fell for fascist propaganda.  Their country has long ago entered the decomposition phase of Empire, where the imperialist ego reigns at large, even though there is no empire to reign on anymore.

The world always had high hopes for America, as a new land that would perhaps avoid the mistakes of Europe and the UK.  Instead, they achieved the highest inequality, crime rates, inexistent health care and now the lowest level of democracy in the Western world.  Hundreds of years of building a country just to become a fascist shithole where Elon-type oligarchs embezzle public money to prop up their huge businesses while the population drowns in inflation and Fentanyl.  Americans are slaves to the world’s most dehumanizing corporatocracy that never gave two shits about its citizens, in fact feeding them shit: toxic foods that are pretty much banned from much of the rest of the world.  The necrocapitalist lobby of corporations is not just running the show in America.  It is the show itself, it doesn’t need a lobby anymore.  This is a banana republic like no other: nothing has been left standing except for corporate greed. 

And yet, we, the rest of the world, forgot to say “Thank You”.  Thank you for what?  All of the above?  For those Americans reading this thinking “this is not me”, when was the last time you talked about corruption and capitalism at a dinner party?  Fascism may be new to America in its current overt form, but capital has been running and ruining this country for decades.  Democrats and Republicans are not political parties, but corporations:  they don’t want to make a better country, they just want to make their sponsors rich.  As long as they manage to divide Americans across racial and income lines, they will continue to pillage the country while the R’s and the D’s fight over who’s right and who’s wrong.

America, Thank You for the shitshow.
