This was not a post I was planning to write, and my book was never meant to be about genocide. This was only a small chapter within a chapter, within a book. But the Zionist trolls clocked it. They found it. And now they are flooding my book page on Amazon with negative reviews. Most profiles I couldn’t trace of course, but a couple of them I could, because I had previous abuse from them that ended in a block on social media. And this is what I know about them: they are actually “environmentalists” with Jewish or Israeli heritage. They are anti-extinction, but obviously pro-genocide. How this works in their brain I don’t know, you will have to ask them personally.
I’m not feeling “wronged”, or surprised, and I should have expected this. But the fact that this has taken place now, in these times, is a wake-up call to the games being played. It should tell us that Zionism will keep fighting an ideological war, even as we witness this genocide on real time TV, 24 hours a day. They slaughter children while sending songs to the Eurovision Song Contest about peace and love. It is the behaviour of a nation so lost in its own propaganda, and deep, internal trauma.
When you write a book about collapse and you attack the genocidal system of necrocapitalism at its root, you should never be surprised when the system itself comes for you, and knocks on your door one bright morning. As an indie author, my only affordable option remains Amazon. Bezos, of course, has everything to win from allowing authors that callout growth, colonialism, and genocide to be attacked and chastised by the 5-star rating system. Death by a thousand reviews, I have no choice but to accept my sentence as a badge of honour.
Like a Black Mirror episode, I have found myself discarded by the ratings system. But not by my readers. Thank you for your support, but I do need to ask a favour: go on Amazion, and give this book a thumbs up. Do it now, before you forget. I owe you one.
I have a brand new essay to post, it will be with you in a couple of days. I put it on the side because I wanted to send you this message today.
Best
George
