When a society is hijacked by parasites, it is only a matter of time before it breaks down. The oligarchs are running the show and have turned governments from governing entities to machines of wealth transfer from the 99% to the 1%. As Americans move into their cars in their millions, and college graduates move in back with their parents, it is clear that this is neither a society nor a dystopian Hollywood film. It is the end of the world as you knew it, or perhaps, the point where you realise that the world you knew was never real. They just wanted you to think it was, at least for a few decades, while they figured out how to get rid of you altogether. Because truly, the parasites don’t need you anymore. They have AI. And when they have taken all of your money, that is when they will truly have zero use for you. You, me, all of us in the 99%, will become liabilities.
We have been living in a farm thinking we were queuing up for our paycheques, when all this time we had been queuing up for slaughter. Everything we own and everything we are is sliced, diced, packaged and sold like a hunk of meat at the butchers. Our income is becoming worthless, our food is priceless, and our personal data robbed to train our permanent replacement. We used to be afraid of the colleague that would steal our job. Now the job itself is gone, but the bills are still due.
The parasites must be terminated before they start more genocides as they reach out for each other’s throats. We are facing the double threat of extreme inequality no one has experienced in living memory, along with the risk of extinction by one, or more, of the AI “toys” the shitocracy of broligarchs creates. I don’t take lightly the title I chose for this piece. It is either people power now, or serfdom like you cannot even imagine. In a world where the great majority of the population will be unemployed, we will all depend on handouts from the AI agents. You will all need to be good boys and girls and stop writing articles against the oligarchy and AI if you want to receive your government cheque, and daily food ration.
In the meantime, make sure you buy those Xmas gifts.
