The End of Free-Range Humans

Seeking safety in replicating the bad examples of others is one of the most unfortunate human traits.  Most of the time we blindly follow the herd of a collective unconsciousness tugging itself towards a random direction.  Sabotaging our access to our own vast emotional reservoir, we unconditionally surrender to a mind prison assembled for us by the narratives of organized power.  Removed from truth, so many of us lazily find shelter in whichever mind prison makes us feel most “comfortably real” or deceptively validated.

We are already living in the age when very few of us can even recognize or remember what a “free-range”, free-thinking human was: probably an artist, terrorist, someone who just forgot to recite their system-prescribed affirmations in the morning and suddenly found themselves awake in the necrocapitalist matrix.  These revolutionaries are becoming increasingly rare in a prescriptive, suffocating psychonomic society whose algorithms quickly extinguish anything “rare”, “odd” or “off kilter”.  Anything which dares to question the unquestionable.

Over the past century the various propaganda channels, political marketing machines and consumatronic advertising agencies united to perfect their science of representing, maintaining and reinforcing the most backward, oppressive and exploitative forces in society.  Critics often complain about how corrupt the media is, how they “fail” to accurately represent the news.

But they were never supposed to be accurate. The role of the media is not to be representative, democratic, or impartial.  The role of all media, since their inception, has always been to make dystopias look good, and leaders appear credible.  Religion, media and authority are part of the PR machine of the Psychonomic Civilisational Lie.  We should never expect them to be fair, impartial, or democratic, as long as there is always someone in the background handpicking, distorting, reworking and deep faking “the news”.

The world which the media have created inside our brains is a monetizable commodity they fully control, exploit and manipulate.  The walls of this dark, cold and damp mind prison are covered with glowing holograms of windows looking out into open countryside, giving us the false impression that we are free to roam away from the farm anytime we want to.  The holographic walls can change at any point to accommodate new hallucinations, messages and “truths” that the system needs to disseminate.   Welcome to the psychedelic unreality of late stage necrocapitalism.

  1. Humans were never born free. The mutation that we inherited from evolution left us without a well defined script to follow. We were cast adrift to partially write our own script that we call “cult”-ure. That along with a brain that could contemplate and imagine led to an uncanny cleverness. We became successful exploiters of our environment that could procreate faster than the checks put on us by other species. We have been constantly in a state of overshoot. Overshoot creates enormous stress. That eventually led to agriculture to take our survival out of “GOD’s” hands. With agriculture came hierarchy and war to defend our food supply and territory. Food and shelter was no longer free for the taking. We have been in prison since the great “FALL”. We submitted to hierarchy for our survival. We were no longer a semi-free range animal. We have become self domesticated animal. A domesticated animal becomes neurotic and dependent.

  2. The civilized food and shelter rationing system of hierarchy did not originate from our biology. It was self imposed by our imagination and scarcity. It has been “sucessfull” as a survival strategy but with all sorts of neurotic side effects.

  3. The side effects are everywhere and we have been suprising able to ignore them, but they have always multiplied in a positive direction. We are becoming more and more neurotic every passing day. We are now trying to buid a man made brain to tell us how to live. How neurotic is that! We have driven ourselves insane and are unable to recognize that locking up and controlling our own food was a bad idea with serious consequences. A domesticated animal is a shell of it”s former wild state. Being dependent on hierarchy for our collective survival became a self reinforcing feedback loop of epic proportions and we developed a severe blind spot to it. Is there no way out except war. Love Rick

    1. War IS the problem – humans have attempted to build a “civilization” while skipping the pre-requisite course in permanently abstaining from murder, theft, covetousness, etc. Unless you hit “reset” on that OS, persistent failure is the result.

Otherwise, this post reminds me of the movie “The Island.”

  4. If you don’t read the newspapers you are uninformed. If you read the newspapers you are disinformed. I think Mark Twain said this.
