  1. What is very interesting about humans is our collective and individual ability to ignore reality. Our biological wiring to breed is so powerful that we are able to ignore the absolute horrors that we perpetrate on the other lifeforms and each other and find that acceptable. Our ability to see life as good is bizarre. We are strange clever zombies. Not self aware. I am a highly sensitive person that has recognized the horror since childhood, yet I still helped create two offspring. It took me many adult years to recognize that I am insane. Everything about this way of life bothers me emotionally. I have tried lots of different ways of numbing my emotionality along with a couple of fairly heavy duty nervous breakdowns. I have survived but it has not been pleasant.

  2. Great post, George, thank you! One thing that is missing, is humans, human family, extracted from government. It is an artificial divide between those who want children and those who don’t. Every person alive could possibly trace their family back to the first humans (unless they just evolved on their own) even if they have lost track of their family’s history. I haven’t. I am a 17th generation direct descendant of King James IV of Scotland. At any point of break in that line, a large number of people would not exist. In my family history book going back to 1735, with over 2000 recorded members (many not recorded yet) would be blank if the travel from Ireland to N. America had not been successful. The captain of the ship was planning to kill the passengers and steal their gold, but the passengers found out and successfully captured the captain and crew and continued with the journey. And now, in Gaza, you see many family lines ended, after millennia of existence. People do have an existence outside of government rule, which is a class of imposters standing in the social space where actual governance should occupy.

  3. I do like Lyle Lewis’ work, and his approach to world. Hopefully he’ll do some more interviews/talks on YT.

Haven’t got his book yet, but I am fascinated by his concept that the current 6th mass extinction goes back beyond homo sapiens existence, to 3 million years or so. Not that I’m looking to salve a conscious or anything, we’ve certainly accelerated the process!

  4. why is there no audio version of this interview? most of us do not have time to read such lengthy written transcripts and would prefer to hear it in your own voice, one would think you might understand and appreciate that George

    1. This interview is for an online university magazine and I very much like it the way it was set up by the brilliant journalist along with the images. You should read more, its good for you, even though audio is easier. If you want to hear my voice there are many other links to interviews on my website you can both listen to and see, on the main page. Thank you and enjoy.
